Mr Morrison and his wife Ann were gracious Idahoans and the co-founders of Morrison Knudsen and organizers of the Six Companies; famous for the building of Hoover Dam. Mr. Morrison was recognized in 1954 when TIME Magazine put him on the cover and credited him as: "The Man who has done more than anyone else to change the face of the earth". The Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts was the result of Mrs. Velma Morrison endless efforts to make the center a reality.
